Understanding Named Captures

For those who have seen me present on Regular Expressions at one of the local Lugs, then you've heard me talk about the experimental named capture syntax .(?{ }) .

Well, David Wheeler (author of the great Bricolage publishing system, among others) has a nice explanation of it's usage, and in the comments some information on how to use them best in Perl 5.8.8 hint
