Also have you seen the new law about banning all books that were printed before 1985? Seriously no joke! This law went into effect this past week! Stores are trashing and burning any book printed before 1985 as a way to keep kids safe from dying of lead poisoning from the ink on the pages. No joke.
I think it might a sneaky way to control our education…. but then I don’t trust government… :]

Excellent post, Kell. Love it. Totally agree with you.
Have you ever heard of A Thomas Jefferson Education? This is how we are choosing to educate our children, to make sure that they receive a “liber” education and know their rights and can remain free.
According to what I have read and heard about, we are no longer a democracy. We are an aristocracy, and the heads of the aristocracy right now are Business and Government. Some aristocracies have the Church as the head, some have the Government, some have a certain royal family, etc. In our country it’s Business and Government together. And Republicans and Democrats are no longer what their parties suggest. We need a new party called the Freedom Party. The closest party I have found that matches in line with a Freedom Party is the Constitutionalists. I liked Ron Paul.
Go get and check out the book called A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver de Mille. He is the chancellor of George Wythe University in Cedar City. Love his ideas about government and education. His answer is in the way we educate our children now. :]
By the way, I would LOVE to talk politics with you any day! I was one of those people who were swayed by Pres. Obama while he was running. He was very persuasive and gave me feel good goosebumps. Now I am totally regretting my decision to vote for him. I can’t believe the power and control that our government has. We are no longer a democracy. I firmly believe that.

Kelly, great post! I have voiced my concerns on my blog as well and plan on following up my pre-election and post-election posts with a some post inauguration posts. It is our duty to let the truth be known and warn our neighbors when our rights are under attack. Thanks for your post.

So true!! If the parties had their way, the people would forget that they have their own minds to think with. That is why it is so important for US to teach our children the proper role of government, because no one else in the world is going to. They are all to power hungry.

It shouldn’t be about even whether it “works”. Should it even be tried! People have such a lack of understanding about the proper role of government, especially at the federal level nowadays. They clamor for a king, and follow the words of parties like slaves.

Don’t Tread on Me!
